At SME Backup we believe in
being transparent, keeping things clear and
simple. Our prices, listed below, are easy to
understand with no hidden extras. We also do
not ask you to sign up for prolonged contracts.
If we provide you with a quality service then
we trust you will stay with us and maybe even
recommend us to your contacts. If, in the unlikely
event you are not happy, we would welcome the
opportunity to try and fix any problems there
may be but the bottom line is that you can leave
at any time without penalty - all we ask is
that you give us 30 days' notice - we cannot
be fairer than that. |

How does our Price List work?
There are several clearly defined charges
that may apply to your SME Backup installation. All
users will incur a monthly fee based on the storage
capacity used on our servers and a one-off set up
fee. For many businesses that is it. If you use MS
Servers (Exchange, Server 2002 or newer or Small Business
Server) or hold data in certain databases (SQL, Oracle,
Lotus, etc.) then an additional small monthly fee
is added to the capacity charge and the setup fee
is slightly higher. Additional installation and other
services are available at additional costs if required.

SME Backup Bolt-Ons
| Remote Installation |
We will install and set up your system using
remote access software. You are required to
be on-site and the service must be booked in
advance by emailing support@sme-backup.co.uk
You, or a hardware representative/IT Manager,
must be available to assist in selecting files
to be backed up and for on-line training at
time of installation. |

We recommend that you use your own hardware/IT
Support company for this as they will know your
system better than we do.
However, if required, we will install the

and retention policies.
Data sets include setting up backup sets for
Exchange, Exchange Mailboxes, and any Database
modules you are licensing. |
| PLEASE NOTE |
If you attempt
to install the system yourself, and then require
our assistance to fix an installation, costs will
be based on time at our current published hourly
rate for Other Remote Services below.
Installation is not hard or complex but where
a server is involved we strongly recommend that
suitably qualified people carry out the installation. |
| Initial Backup Seeding |
£45.00 + Courier costs and
Media rental if applicable |
Seeding is where you carry out an initial
backup to a local removable USB drive
and send it to us to mount on the server as
your initial backup. This is used where large
volumes of data are to be backed up and sending
them over a ADSL or SDSL connection may take
a prolonged period. See details in the user
manual and FAQ section on how to do this.
Courier costs, if incurred, are charged at
cost. Alternatively, devices can be delivered
to or collected from our office.

| Restore via USB |
£45.00 + Courier costs and
Media Rental if applicable |
As with seeding above, in the event of a
full or large restore being required we can
send this to you on an external USB device and
you can restore it using SME-Backups de-encrypt
tools.
Courier costs, if incurred, are charged at
cost. Alternatively devices can be delivered
to or collected from our office.

| Other Remote Services |
£65.00/hour |
In relation to issues with your backup we can
offer additional services as required at an hourly
rate. Support, as included with the standard monthly
fee, only covers issues directly related to the
SME-Backup client and server. Other issues involving
your applications and systems such as faulty h/w
or s/w, virus attack, etc, that are not covered
by standard support are charged at this rate.
You will ALWAYS be advised if additional charges
are to be incurred BEFORE they are incurred. |

If the above structure does not offer what you
require please call or e-mail us. We can devise
bespoke systems to meet your particular requirements
with Data Centre or local based servers and functions
to meet your exacting needs. |
All prices exclude VAT.
Terms are payment by monthly Direct Debit.
Additional charges will be collected with the next
monthly direct debit payment.
Payment by cheque for the annual amount is also accepted.
In this case any adjustments will be invoiced at the
time they are made, multiplied out for the year if
appropriate, and are payable immediately.
No refunds on unused service are available.
You are not committed to any lengthy contracts as
with other systems. We only require a minimum of 1
month's notice for termination of service.
You can increase or decrease your level of data storage
and or add-on services and agents at any time by contacting
support@sme-backup.co.uk. Your next direct debit payment
will be adjusted to cover the balance of the current
month as well as the new fee for subsequent months.
If you are unsure of what the cost will be you can
either call us, use the on-line Quote
Form or start a trial and once you are backing
up the required data we can offer you a firm price.
By taking a trial you are not committing to any costs
at all. If you are not happy at the end of 14 days
you can cancel, stop using the system and owe nothing.
