You are an IT company developing and or reselling and supporting applications.

How can SME Backup help my business?

Firstly, your own business will need a backup. You may have a solution in place in-house but SME Backup may have a place in securing your own valuable data.

Secondly, you will be dealing with clients who have valuable data stored using your applications. This may be accounts data generated using Sage or other accounts application, a payroll system, a back office system such as can be found in HR, Recruitment, Manufacturing, Professional and other businesses.

This data needs to be backed up so when you get the 999 call saying "the cleaner unplugged the server" or the system has crashed for one of any number of reasons, you know there is a secure, reliable, quick and easy method of recovering the data. The MD does not have to get in his car and drive home to get a tape, assuming they have even done a backup in the first place and that they are held off-site as they should be.

The data as was at the last backup can be recovered in minutes. It can even be recovered directly to your site for any maintenance to be done before re-installing with the client. It can be rolled back to 2 days ago, or 3, or last week or even last month if required (subject to retention period). So you no longer hear the dreaded answer when you ask "have you got a backup".

In addition to this peace of mind, the backup runs on a scheduler so no one can forget to run it. You can also earn revenue by promoting and reselling SME Backup to your clients. This can be done in one of three ways. As with all we do, there are no tie in contracts, fancy names and gimmicks.

Reactive Partner
Earn a referral fee for each and every client introduced - this is paid after they have signed up and paid the initial set up, 1st and 2nd months fees. No commitment beyond that on anybody.

Proactive Partner
If you are keen to promote the system and to be proactive in your market place we will pay you an initial referral fee as above but we will also pay you, in addition to the referral fee, a % of the total revenue from all clients introduced for a period of 3 years. To be eligible for this you need to commit to a minimum number of new client introductions in every rolling 3 months.

Application Partner
We can, using API calls, build the software into your applications thus encouraging your clients to backup using the SME Backup system. In this case we need to discuss in detail how this can best be achieved and we agree a bespoke financial package for each Application Partner.

How do I become a SME Backup partner?
It's simple - email us at partner@sme-backup.co.uk with your name, address, contact details and brief outline of your business and we will call you to discuss how we can benefit each other. Once accepted you can start earning immediately by introducing your client base to SME Backup.

We have multiple sites?
Not a problem. SME Backup can be deployed in a number of ways.
One account can be shared over several computers on the same or different sites. This does introduce some small procedural requirements during set up and when datasets are amended.
Alternatively, you can utilise seperate accounts for each computer and/or site. The total capacity used between all sites is used to calculate the price, i.e. you benefit from buying more data, the one-off set up fee applies to each account and the Windows server and database fees apply for each configuration. Mailboxes, like data, are cumulative thus saving over single account rates.
